Registration opens Sunday 6pm to 7pm.

We are no hill billy Square Dance Club! Welcome to the modern world! Square Dance Attire / Frilly skirts not a necessity but can be worn if you like to. We take a casual approach to teaching Square Dancing to ensure everyone is having the best time. No special equipment required. Please wear closed in shoes for your own safety.

Shoes on Sale

Sue has kindly let me know that gold and Silver slip on shoes are on sale at Kmart for $5 a pair. We may wear gold or silver shoes to the national so it might be worth looking at. And even if we don't these shoes are suitable for everyday dancing.

Still time to register for the National Square Dance Convention

If you haven't registered for the National Square Dance convention don't worry - there is still time to do so. Please let Rachelle know if you want to attend but haven't yet registered.

You will need to be atleast a mainstream level square dancer to attend and Michael will be working his behind off to get our new dancers up to speed over the next six months.

You should consider attending the 2016 National Square Dance Convention - this year it will be held in Buderim and would be great experience for all.

Sewing Bee Scheduled for Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th January Cancelled

Unfortunately I have been unable to source the full materials to start sewing our outfits for the national at this stage so we will need to cancel the sewing bee until further notice.

If you see any of our square dancers out and about please let them know.

New Weekly Timetable!

Hi all,

Just letting you know Michael and I have finally sat down this week and nutted out our new timetable for this year. I will have the Calendar published very soon but here is an overview of the week.

Monday:
6pm - 7pm Rounds
7pm - 9pm Mainstream, Plus & Advanced (note this night is going back to include Mainstream)

Friday:
5pm - 6.30pm Advanced Clogging
6.30pm - 9pm Basics & Mainstream

Saturday:
12.30pm - 1.30pm Rounds Workshops (Dates to be advised)
2pm - 5pm Advanced Workshops (Dates to be advised)

Sunday:
6pm - 7pm Basic Level Clogging
7pm - 8pm Intermediate Level Clogging

Hope you have enjoyed your holidays - only a few more weeks to go until we are fully back on deck!

Merry Christmas!

Well it's that time of year again! The last week of dancing is upon us :( 

Last Monday night of the year on 30th November and last Friday night of the year on 4th December. 

Please join us for a Christmas breakup on Saturday 5th December at our home 45 Kildare Crescent, Parkhurst. 

Starting at 10am with a quick meeting regarding the 2016 national square dance convention and the games and lunch. We will be ajourning to Kortes Resort (next door to our house) at 2pm for a swim in the pool, nibbles and drinks (we will be buying the nibbles but please pay for your own drinks) we would love if you could join us. Please RSVP by Thursday 3rd December to Michael or Rachelle.
