As you may know Michael and Rachelle are on the committee for the 2016 National Square Dance Convention to be held in Buderim 29th June - 3 July 2016. There will also be a special 4th July Dance with international callers and a Callers & Cuers conference the week before the convention.
The Committee is working tirelessly to pull together an amazing show for everyone to enjoy and the program will be released soon but rest assured it will be jam packed with great dancing and interest sessions.
Particularly we would like to encourage the younger dancers in our group. This will be the perfect opportunity for you to meet life long friends and enjoy dancing with others your own age. There will be extra group activities arranged for those in this group as well so it will be well worth the trip.

Special Pricing will be available until 13th April 2015 so please consider registering early.
Remember those who are a member of the Rockhampton & District Square Dance Inc and have helped out with fundraising or ticked acceptance on their membership form will have their ticket paid for and later will receive money towards the cost of travel and accommodation to help you get there!

Clogging is described as American tap Dancing, it is highly enthusiastic and great exercise.
Enrolments open each Saturday 14th March to 28th March 2015 9am to 10am.
Rockhampton Square Dance Centre

1st class is Free!
Cost after $5 Adults and $3 Students each class.
No special shoes required just come along and enjoy the music.

St Patrick's Day Theme Nights
Great news! All classes resume this week starting Friday with Basics Friday night - don't forget this Friday night and Monday night is the St Patrick Day theme so come in green! See you there!

Due to personal reasons there will be no square dancing Friday night 6th March or Monday night 9th March. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will be back at square dancing the follow Friday as normal.

We are officially announcing due to the current weather conditions there will be no dancing on Friday night or Saturday morning for clogging or squares.

We are Back!
Well we are back for another year! It was a great start to the year last night with Plus and Advanced and even a contra!

We are implementing new rules to protect your safety and those around you.
